Part of the fun for me in Classic BSG are the (fairly obvious) continuity errors.
One of my favorites is in the first part of "War of the Gods" when the squadron led by Bojay is taken by the ship of lights, they show on several occasions the "stock" footage of the 5 vipers flying in formation ...
...flash to Commander Adama on the bridge briefing Tigh, Apollo and Starbuck and he mentions they lost 4 ships with no idea what happened ... and several times in the episode they mention the 4 missing pilots!!!
I understand they used the stock footage for budgetary reasons, but they should have written in a 5th pilot then ;) ... hehe there are several others I have noticed and it adds to the enjoyment of the series for me ...
Go ahead and add your favorites ... I'll punch in a few more of mine at a later date!

I like when the Silver-Spar guys after Living Legend are seen wearing both types of helmets in the same episode during the same mission.

Saga of a Star World, there is a scene aboard the Galactica where a tech is reading a monitor, that has a data plate, clearly labeled MADE IN USA.

Continuity glitches do pop up. That's why I've always found it enjoyable to do fanfic adaptations of each episode (see the "New Twists" section) and find ways of fixing some of the ones that stick out the most.
Probably the one that sticks out for me most is how initially, when the new scene of Baltar being spared by the Imperious Leader was added to the end of Saga, there was a whole bit of dialogue about the Leader sparing him to offer some new kind of truce. When this scene was repeated in LPOTG, that part of the dialogue had been excised. Clearly, the decision to keep John Colicos came before the absolutely final decision of going with a weekly series rather than a series of two hour movies (or a seven hour miniseries) had been reached, because I suspect this additional dialogue related to a plot point that would have figured only if Galactica had emerged in that kind of format.

I was just checking around for Battlestar bloopers on the internet yesterday! There are a bunch of little things...
I think in Fire in Space, you can see Starbuck's flesh under his glove when they are walking around outside...

My favorites all come from Fire In Space. What a picking ground of total gaffs! When they decide to lure Muffit to the bridge through the extremely handy air ducts that lead all over the ship, two things become immediately obvious:
1) If Muffit can move unimpeded through the air duct system, then so can the FIRE and it makes the "seal off the compartments" folderal completely silly.
and
2) When they place the mushies in the vent on the bridge, we are to believe that the scent is what draws Muffit to the bridge... except that the smoke (and therefore the air-flow) is moving the wrong direction to accomplish this.
At some point, Apollo says that they can send people to all the compartments to keep him on course towards the bridge. Tigh poo-poos him and says they can't spare that many people because they are ALL involved in fighting the fire.
Well, isn't THAT ridiculous? You mean to tell me that there aren't kitchen personnel, cleaning personnel, administrators, and Viper pilots that are completely useless in fire-fighting that couldn't be called upon? And even if that's the case, as Tigh says, there's a whole FLEET of ships TEEMING with people just floating outside the viewport they could call upon.
yup...Fire In Space. My favorite.

My favorite inconsistency is Athena.
Is Athena:
A) A flight navigator (for lack of a better term)
B) A bridge officer
C) A shuttle pilot
D) A school teacher
E) All of the above
F) All of the above and seemingly more
Funny how that one worked out.

Thing to remember is that Athena is the daughter of Commander Adama so of course she can have as many jobs as are needed. Despite them continually saying that they are shorthanded and need help. Again all those ships with people who are just hanging about waiting to find Earth. What no need for janitors and such? Heck even a Socialator like Caseopia can get a job as a Med Tech. Then again I guess it helps to sleep around, and know the big wigs. :smart:

The Ensign is blowing the wrong way too! :rotf:

Actually, battle stations after you've been hit with a structure or fire casualty, would include your damage control station. Everybody has one, including pilots and the galley detail who probably started(in real life) the ship board fire which ALL of them would fight in one way or another.

1. Unless you have served aboard that warren of a ship OR you are under the close supervision of somebody who served aboard the Alligator YOU are a liability during a damage control evolution. Bringing schmucks over from the Colonial Movers freighter isn't going to help. Navy destroyermen trained in the mysteries of a warship; still need seeing eye dogs to find their way about aboard an unfamiliar aircraft carrier.
yup...Fire In Space. My favorite.

Good for yucks.
Starbuck and Apollo weightless. The wire work was dreadful.

Ah, so many great ones!
The earliest one for me was the Baltar's death in the cinema release of BSG (saga), then he's alive again in the Sequel 'Mission Galactica' (Legend/FIS)
Probobly my favourite is Starbuck's hair.
There's a long sequence in ........Saga I think, where Starbucks haircut changes back and forth about six times from long to short.
I love the 'big explosions' in Fire in Space, where the 'long shot' of the hanger bay's interior is a re-used war film sequence, and clearly shows a cavern with a steam train in it.
Everything about Fire In Space is hysterically funny! Not only continuity but also crazy props and plot holes.
As Charybdis said, the glove/wrist seal (weirdly there is a velcro seal there (I have one of the suits) and the two parts of the costume should be connected. But also the selotape seals on the air hoses, the madly obvious wires, the fact that when the solenite charges finally explode, we are shown explosions not only from the top of the hanger bay, but also from the top of the main hull and seemingly rising from out of view.
The fact that they need to go to all that trouble instead of just turning off the hanger-bay force fields and smothering the fire that way.
Using Vipers as fire extinguishers! Oh god the list is endless.
The Cylon Gunner in GOIPZ whose glove and sleeve part to reveal 2 inches of bare wrist when he flicks the levers.
The clones in GOIPZ who apart from the sfx shot of the three Brit's all look nothing like each other and all just try to keep their heads down so you can only see the ill fitting wigs.
How about the 'no name' battlestar footage (multi use!) where the name area on the hanger bay is just blank.

Here's another amusing one involving GOIPZ (which is also the source of Dirk's long to short to long haircut). In Part 1, whenever the Cylons speak, regardless of their command level, it's always in the same tone of voice. But suddenly in Part 2 we now have the different classes of Cylons speaking in different tones to distinguish them. The regular tone for regular centurions, a higher pitched tone for higher ranked centurions and then the lower pitched tone for gold plated command centurions.
