Could we just get a pic of this thing? The new link works, but it wanted me to sign in. I'm not a member and I'm not joining just to see a pic.

Thanks. That's awesome. Nothing beats a real life homemade model. (though I'll be darned if I can make one look that sweet. :) )

Any idea if you're going to offer that up as a kit? Just curious.

No. I will not be offering this as a kit, because I'm not building this. I was just passing along info. This is being done by 'Jestefarean' over at Starshipbuilder.com. But I do hope he does offer it as a kit. BTW, got my mug today. COOL!

Ahh... that's what I get for missing staff meetings, huh? :)

Well, if you're keeping abreast of his progress and he DOES decide to do this up as a kit, let him know he's got a guaranteed sale here!

Thanks!

Great stuff....

Now now... no harm, no foul. The whole "Mk blah blah" thing has gotten alot of reference. He was probably using it out of convenience.

As far as Classic canon goes, there's no viper ship with a "Mk anything" in front of or behind it. (Canon to me = television, novelizations, script information) :colonial:

As far as the "Mk something" designations go, I'm not inclined to pay attention to it since it's a "GINO" addition to the lexicon to start with. :...:

And yes... I'm a picky old fan bastard. :salute:

I know the Classic Colonial Viper. I know the 6th Millennium Viper. I know the DeSanto Viper. I know the Scarlet Viper (don't like it but I know it). And I know the Trendmasters Viper. All the "Mk whatever" is confusing because there's no mental connect when you say it.

What... my verbosity and loquaciousness didn't reveal itself as efficacious in the restatement of the very nub of your gist?

Yeah... I do tend to go on. And on. Anon.

But its all part of why you guys love me so much! Right? :)

I guess you will not miss another staff meeting again, will you. You said a breast. :rotf: If he does make it a kit he will have two guaranteed sales. Your first after me.

That ship was flown by Croad, the enforcer from the Proteus prison colony. From the episode "The Long Patrol" with the Recon Viper 1 and C.O.R.A. the sexy sounding counter part to Starbucks slick Viper skills. Also the original model sold on eBay Profiles in History about 8 - 12 months ago

Hey... cool screen shot!

Cool ship too.

Notice, in the episode, how they used the pumpkin shuttle cockpit and the side of the Galactica shuttle to make the full-sized set pieces for Robber's shuttle?

I noticed in all the close up shots it was the Colonial shuttle, and they stayed close camera range so the effect wouldn't be lost of it being an other type of ship. It also looks like the ship was repainted., or just low light while filming.
On an other point, the pit in the prison area, does any one know if that is on Universal's lot? I see the concreted area in many show, like A Team, and most recently Invasion just a few weeks ago.
