Battlestar Galactica: The Exodus Series

As some of you know, some of my fellow fans and I have been working away at creating what I consider to be one of the most rewarding fan efforts I've ever seen in this fanbase. This is the culmination of a number of smaller efforts and honestly is something that evolved over time. Its an evolutionary project rather than a revolutionary one. Its bad taste for someone as closely involved in a project as I am to brag about it too much but I don't think I'm stepping out of line in promising that the Exodus series will be well worth the wait.

Great News Sandy ! May I be the first in this thread to wish you the best of luck.....

One question if I may ?

When released, the episodes will be available as .mp3s and zipped audio CDs.
Will these be be .MP3s and zipped audio CDs only ? Or will they be available in a downloadable form online ?

If available online, please may my fanfilms site (about to be launched) link to them......to help spread the word !

These will be availble for download. The "ideal" concept for listening to these episodes is to burn them to CD and listen to them in your car. If you want to convert the MP3 directly into CD then that will be an option (especially for lower bandwidth users). If you want a direct CD transfer and have a fast connection, you can download the CD image and burn it direct.

At CA, someone thought these would be something you buy. They're not. This is all a gift to the fans. When you get them, please share them as you like.

I would advise you to make it very clear, from the start, that these are not for sale. That way a passing Universal lawyer won't jump on you ! Once again....Best of Luck.......

Good point. I presumed folks would know it was a gift but just to make it more clear, I changed the download text to read:

Yup, when return of a hero was being made, I can't speak for the others involved with the project but something had me always looking over my shoulder. Turns out it was just my wife asking me if I ever get off the computer long enough to sleep. lol

I'm really looking forward to this. The projet that is, not the sleep. Well, a little sleep wouldn't hurt either. lol
