Without reading it - I do know that the character of Apollo was originally named Skyler.

As to whether the script is the real deal - I don't know.

Thank the lords that they decided on Apollo instead!

You mean George Lucas, right? It's an honest mistake though.

George has sometimes been confused as a deity ;)

If you haven't already visited the site, definitely check out Sue Paxton's Battlestar Zone at http://www.geocities.com/sjpaxton/ . I'm pretty sure she still offers her reviews of early BG drafts and un-filmed scripts--great interviews, too.

Aside from the Sklyer name, is the rest of this thing any good? Haven't read it all the way through myself.

Serina's name is Lyra in this. I think it was changed to Serina during filming.

I glanced thru it. There's no Cassiopea and Uri is named Anton. Athena is the stereotypical 70s damsel in distress crying in her brother's or boyfriend's arms when things go bad or everything is ok. I was surprised that Starbuck shoots Baltar near the end on Carillon.

And the robot dog got killed. I declare that part of the script Excellent! :D

So the Colonies fought the Cylons independently of each other until near the end of the Thousand yahren war and were united by that president. I know Baltar said something about that in the first episode in a deleted scene. Probably excised after the Cylons were changed from cyborgs to robots and could have larger numbers.

Apollo is a better name than Skyler. More mythological. Skyler sounds too much like Skywalker (obviously why it was changed) even tho I read that Larson created Skyler first.

Lyra is a pretty name but Serina fits Jane Seymour better :)

I noticed as the attack on Caprica began that the narration mentions someone named Orin. Isn't this Boxey's name in Tom DeSanto's continuation script?

A lot of Adama's lines in this script are Apollo's in the ep.

They started filming and Skyler was still being used, but then it changed and they had to redub the name.
