Apparantly my last post was October 27 of last year.
Ah well, the whole real life thing got a little weird. Still is. It is merely a touvh less....
ummmmm....explosive these days.
All right. The place has changed a bit. Someone wanna give this original series lover the grand tour?
And, as I used to say....
Cheers!

Welcome back :)
No doubt you noticed a few changes, but over-all, it's pretty much the same around here.
Read your reply to Dawg at CA. Hope things keep going up on the good side for ya.

Warrior, well the last time I was on the forums, I was lamenting a failed marriage and dealing with the shock of a friend raping a young girl I have known since she was knee high to a grasshopper. It was not the events of my life that were killing me, it was my obsession with them and I lost focus on my big kid and my own ability to breathe free. Been working out every day....since I have an aversion to eating my veggies, I drink a lot of carrot juice and run.
I am not ignoring the less positive aspecs of my life, but I am putting them in the total perspective vortex and trying to keep all the drama on the stage as opposed to life and I would rather hang with good friends and talk about movies, theatre, sci fi, and just to complete the geek package...throw in a plug for Linux once in awhile. BTW, I am also teaching intro to computers to advanced ESL students. I love it!!!
BST!!!! Thanks, gor the good stuff, man!
BTW...anyone wanna see some cheesy but fun films I did for a friend of mine online?

Teaching comps was fun for me too years ago. I taught 3rd thru 8th grades.

I got grownups. I find my female students are far more attentive then my male ones. I am not sure why that is. I enjoy it, I feel like I am making a difference. It is the difference between busing tables and working at an insurance company with benefits. Being bi lingual with certified PC skills in the Chicago area is gold.

Julix and Lara, I have missed you and so many others as well. Julix, I still owe you a PM, I have not forgotten. I am merely at the tail end of a play I am in. Getting set for the matinee, set strike, visit a friend in hospice, and then to the cast party. As far as the films...

I am Captain Vegas in the 1st one and the cowboay that kills the saloon gorl at the beginning of the second one. I am about 22 pounds thinner now than in those films. My friend Ryan enters film contests often. He does some great calenders and wensites and he has a comic that is soon getting distributed, but I think this is a direction he would like to hone and do more with.

Thanks Julix. I think Ryan does some decent work. By the end of the western I was sweating like a stuck pig. I've been in swing dance competitions that have gone on for hours with barely a drop....but put me in a cowboy outfit and I am done for??? Sigh..... :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:
