Centurians Sword.
The blade is polished steel, double edged. The crossguard and pommel are solid aluminium, mirror polished. The handle is ebonised mahogany. It's 1:1 scale, and weighs 1300g (a little under 3lb).
So, I'd appreciate any opinions. What do you warriors think?

Gimme!
Very sweet dude. That's one of the nicest prop replicas I've ever seen from Galactica. You make that yourself? Plans to do more?

Yea then you and the guy in the clunky suit can water your petunias together, while you trim the shrubs, and maybe we can get someone little in a dagget suit to make little lawn ornaments, itll be just like Leave it to Beaver, but in chrome!

Me want one! I think I need a whole Cylon to prop up on my front lawn. Beats the hell out of a Pink Flamingo.

Thanks everyone. :)
I do have a cylon suit (the Canadian type) but one of the bits I wasn't happy with was the sword that came with it, so I'm planning on gradually re-making those bits.
I would like to make more swords, but I need to figure out how to speed the process up a bit!
I'm too much of a perfectionist to compromise on the materials or construction, and the first one has taken about 60 hours to complete.
Besides, cutting slabs of aluminium down, and getting the shape 'right' is bloody hard work.
I'm considering getting a lathe, which would obviously do the pommel's, but I need to make a list of other little sci-fi projects that I could make with it to try and convince myself that it could at least make a profitable little hobby for me.
Any suggestions?

There never seems to be enough people cutting lightsaber pieces. The original Doctor Who sonic screwdriver seems like it could be lathed pretty easily, and with the success of the new show, I could see a buzzing market for that. McCoy's hypospray from Trek TOS. Conversion pieces for all of Han Solo's blasters.
Heck, put up a post called "Lathe for hire" on a few of the prop boards and I'm sure you'll see suggestions for things you didn't even know needed making.
