If you're talking about the Babylon 5 Movie DVD set, they are movies that were aired during and after the series run, with the exception of "The Gathering," which was the two-hour pilot. "A Call to Afrms" aired after the 5th season and was a lead-in to "Crusade."

Hope this helps,
Kevin

Thanks Kevin, so with out watching the B5 movies I don't get the complete story? There is something new there out side the five seasons of episodes?

Well, the series told the main story, and 4 of the 5 movies are pretty much side stories. "The Gathering," you've probably already seen since it was the two-hour pilot. "In the Beginning" tells the story of the Earth-Minbari War, told from Delenn's and Sheridan's POV. "Thirdspace" and "River of Souls" are two totally standalone stories. In "Thirdspace," Ivanova discovers a strange alien artifact, and "The River of Souls" is about a Soul Hunter, played by Martin Sheen. Those two were okay, but I wasn't overly impressed. YMMV. Like I said before, "A Call to Arms" sets the stage for "Crusade," where the Excalibur is introduced. I think due to budgetary restrictions, not all of the main B5 actors were in every film, though. IMHO, they're not essential to get the B5 story, they're just "gravy."

Cheers,
Kevin
