I just had to write the following little story.
This weekend I went to a convention here in the Netherlands called Screen Heroes; at which were almost the entire Galactica cast: Richard Hatch, Dirk Benedict, Herb Jefferson Jr., Noah Hathaway, Anne Lockhart, and Terry Carter. (And many others from other series.)
The convention was a bust. 40,000 in the red, horendous organization as well. Not fun. The hotel confiscated the stars luggage, police came to the hotel. They didn't get paid, they even had to pay their own hotel stay...
But they stayed anyway for the second day, for the fans, and not a single grumpy one among them, stayed courteous and friendly with the fans anyway.
