He will be sorely missed, even though they got home at least twice and ended up back on the island AGAIN.

It was one of my favorite "normal" shows that I watched as a kid.

Gilligan was my little buddy growing up. Although he was bigger than me, I grew up with that show. I wonder if he and the Skipper are sleeping on hammocks one under the other, in Heaven. God rest his soul, he was a decent man.

Not to make light of the situation, but his funeral was 3 hours long, and everyone attending brought several changes of clothing just in case. :D
