Sad news: Peter Jennings has passed

The lung cancer claimed him today. He was 67.

Very good at what he did - one of the better anchors and reporters.

I was surprised to learn tonight he was a man of some faith as well.

It's too bad.

For some reason I always liked to watch him. Seemed like at the times when Brokaw and Rather might get rather partisan over a current issue, you could tune in Jennigs and get a detached veiwpoint.

Yeah, I heard about that last night. The watching the world news won't be the same without him. :(
