Alright, I should have added the words "on a shelf"..... :D

I got my Joyride Apollo and Starbuck figures in the mail yesterday and I think that they did a terrific job! They've got helmets, pistols and all the goodies. The sculpting quality is first rate, right down to the buckles on the Full Bore boots.

I can't wait for the rest of the figures to come out - the only one out of the current releases I need is the Gold Cylon Commander. I remembered that there's another Gold Cylon out there, so I'm kind of mulling it over as which one I want to get.

I just love beeing a BSG fan in 2005 when it comes to merchanidise - lots of it and good quality as well!

I'm so relieved they have a home on a shelf.

Mine are in the great room on a bookshelf. :D I have to rearrange it to get the 12" Apollo on the shelf with his box. (He stays in the box lest he becomes one of Barbie's friends. ;) )

Ebay. :D paid less than retail + tax and it came to my door. I Love eBay. :)

Need to go see if anyone's selling Starbuck's yet. I may just buy retail on that one, I think ebay will go nuts over that like they did his signature Rittenhouse trading card. Yeeeee.

Darth, have you been hanging around Richard? That's always been a complaint about the Apollo role of his--he never "got" the girl like Starbuck did. So he fixed that in one of the books. :devil:

I think about $40 each. If you find them cheaper somewhere, let me know. (the Gold Cylon that Tower had was more reasonable I think, but my self control needs to keep that part of my collection to Apollo, Starbuck and maybe Adama so I'm not seeking the cylons for my collection.)

And you wonder why some of us like TOS Apollo better? Might have to do with his cylon kill rate. (Someone here once viewed all the episodes and counted the kills. He had more than Starbuck in a viper; Starbuck had more on the ground.)

As for the rest of this thread....my ears were burning and I wondered why.....I think I was better off not knowing!!!!
