Vacation!!

Well, boys and girls, as of the time I sign off tonight I am going on vacation. I will be on a ship (or in transit between home and dock) and incommunicado beginning tomorrow - for almost two full weeks.

I think the last time I had two full weeks off and away was when Mrs. Dawg and I honeymooned in Hawai'i. And we were only there for a week (wedding plans and execution took the rest of the time).

So - while I"m gone, pay attention to what you're told, eat all your primaries, and stop chasing girls.

Hello, All!

I'm home! I've just returned from The Last Frontier. I know it's The Last Frontier because my T-shirt says so.

It was SPECTACULAR!!!

The food was awesome, the weather incredible (warm, sunny days in all ports of call - something that apparently happens very rarely), the service impeccable (except for a minor glitch about a surprise that was spoiled, and our baggage being shipped to the wrong place as we disembarked), and the scenery - suffice it to say that the pictures won't do it justice. I'll post one or two of my favorites, later (I've not downloaded them yet and I've got a couple hundred to go through).

Learned a lot about cruising. We'll be doing it again. Someday.

But I'm home.
