Moving

I'm moving into a new house this week, and this may be the last time I'm able to peek in for a while.

Once I get things back together and get things transferred to the new address, I'll poke my head back in.

To quote Arnold: "I'll be back."

PS: So far--MOVING SUCKS! Thank God it's only across town, not cross-country like Muffit's was.

I hope it works out better for you than my now-aborted 300 mile move south of my current location.

I'm BAAAcck! Still living out of boxes and wondering where things are, but everthing is under one roof again. Took forever to get my DSL switched to the new address. Everything else went pretty smoothly, tho. Glad that's over.

Your move was probably easier than mine. All I had to move with was a Ford Ranger and a small boat trailer. You probably used a box truck of some kind.

.....uhhhh no. My move was a major pain in the behind.

I had to make a couple of trips here to Reno before hand, so I loaded up the car with what I could.

Then the day came when I was to pick up the U-Haul truck (aka the box truck of some kind :LOL: ) I had my quoted prices and everything from them. But when I went to pick up the vehicle, I got hit with a major suprise- The un-quoted but "mentioned in fine print" additinal costs- .99 cents per mile in addition to the per day costs, etc. That was an additional $400!!!!

So I said heck with them and scrambled to find a friend wit ha pick-up truck. Found one right off the bat, loaded it up and off I went.

Friend's with pickup trucks are worth more than silver or gold some days. Congrats on your move, Warrior.
