I've been haunting around here for a long time (years), and finally registered. Many of you I've known for a very long time. I'm sure as many if not more, I'm not familiar with. Anyhoo, I look forward to exchanging posts with all of you.
respectfully to all,

Bryan: I cannot recall ever being a member of CA. I always ghosted it. While I consider myself a friend of it's previous owner (TBC)[aka; Sandy], I just never registered. Likely you remember my handle from Sciffy, where many of us started. If not that, then you're a member of a board I moderate at. I dare say you remember both Sciffy, and the board I moderate. But I've been around some years. I know Muffit, BST (BattleStarTreker, I think) and many others from Sciffy. But it's all good. I came here to chat about BSG (in whatever form it was, is, and hopefully will be), and to keep in touch with the friends I've already made, and perhaps make some new ones. :D And besides, you're the only board that has my actual US Army branch insignia that I can use in posting! :warrior: How cool is that? :D
Taranis: Thanks for the welcome. As for having fun on the board, no worries. I've chatted with many of the members in years past, and consider them friends. I'm sure "warhammerdriver" will be along to tell me once again how awesome his US Air Force aircraft actually were/are, and how lucky I am/was to be allowed to jump out of them, while they were still flying. :)

BST, BRG, and John, thanks for the welcome.
warhammerdriver: It's a long story on "while they were still flying". The short story is budgets cuts, budgets cuts on the budget cuts, and further cuts on the afore mentioned budget cuts. It's to the point the USAF can no longer support the majority of the Airborne personnel, and they (Airborne) have had to resort to contracting civilians and their aircraft to maintain parachutist currency. :wtf: Pope AFB is being turned over to the Army (Fort Bragg), and it's Wings deactivated or moved. Hence "While they were still flying".

Welcome aboard Bandit!
Sounds like it took you too long to start posting. You'll have to make up for lost time ;)
