Hello all my dear friends, and no that's not a typo - "thanks' for all he's done for me thru my life is a very appropriate substitute for the ST:TOS ep title I borrowed this from...

My father is having heart surgery next week, so this little daggit has decided to make the long cross country trek (oops, sorry), to visit and in some small way take care of him for the first week after his surgery.

I hope to be back in a week or so, but until then, take a moment one and all to phone your own dear parents and let them know what they mean to you. Right now, today. You never know when the tomorrows of your postponement will be postponed indefinitely themselves. Please let the ones you love know you love them, now...
