Okay folks,

Remember that 1960's television series about a loveable witch (with a twitch) and her mortal husband?

It's baaaaaack.....!

In the form of a movie - you got it....Bewitched!

I have to say, that when I first heard that Will Farrell and Nicole Kidman were doing a film remake of Bewitched, I was somewhat skeptical. I was even more skeptical when I found out that it was using a "show within a show" concept...

I had rented a DVD and saw a somewhat clunky promo for the upcoming film. Curiosity got the better of me and I went to the Sony Pictures website for another look. They had a very nice trailer that pretty much lays out the story and some of the characters. I was expecting something awful, but the trailer has me wanting to go see it....! I've never been a big fan of Will Farrell, but I just gotta see Nicole Kidman in this - it really looks like a lot of fun!

It's comeing to a local theater on June 25th - I know I'll be there...

This remake of Bewitched could be all right.

The product though had better be of higher quality than what was shown in the trailer.

That was awful.

There was no sense of comedic timing or a feel for the subject by the principals.

With comedy, you have about a minute to sell it or it falls flat.

This bicarbonate of soda, from what I see, was left open and all the carbon dioxide has fizzed out.
