Yet another question for Michael
Okay, so Apollo was on the Cylon homeworld. This is upsetting. What was the explanation for why he was there? Had he become like agent Cooper posessed by Bob in the final episode of Twin Peaks? What was the intention for his character arc? I wont tell Tom Desanto you told me.

Apollo's fate
Apollo was abducted by cylons 11 yahrens before the events in Tom DeSanto's BSG pilot. A third script made a brief mention that Appolo was missing and presumed dead.

cugel,
In the off-chance the production is ever re-ignited, I won't say. I can mention, though, that it's akin to a Darth Vader-like arc. (Light (original series), falling into darkness/shadow (DeSanto series), then brought back into the light (DeSanto series).)

Yes but he wasn't seduced to the darkside from arogance or power hunger or any ways similer to Anikin's fall.
Apollo's case was not self chosen but more of a...........
I am not going to spoil it either

Hmmm...If this happened the camaraderie we enjoyed with Apollo and Starbuck would be displaced for awhile. However, what we got instead would be intriguing.

This is how I think it would play out, following Baltar's death, Apollo is captured by the cylons and is brainwashed by Imperious Leader. This is assuming Richard is brought into Tom's production(if Tom is given another chance with BSG). This would be interesting to see. Just my $0.02 worth.

captmiloman I think you would of liked DeSanto's story arc regarding Apollo's dark journey.

This kind of reminds me of Star Wars ark Empire. Anyone who read that comic series knows what I'm talking about. Luke sided with Palpatine's clone in an attempt to defeat the remanents of the Empire from the inside.

I loved Dark Empire
I didn't care so much for Dark Empire 2. To add to Captmiloman's coment, Apollo did not try to conquer the Cylon Empire from inside by siding with the imperious leader.
Apollo's dark journey is a more twisted tale than Dark Empire.
