I've got to admit I groaned when I saw the movie was a show-vs-show battlefest, but I have to admit I'm hugely impressed.
To nitpick: I think the camerawork was a tad bouncy, but generally very well executed. The whip-pans, fast-zooms and the rest was all done with great reserve, (that's a complement
) but sometimes it didn't feel like there was a real cameraman in there. Maybe it could have been tightened up a little.
Second - and my only big constructive crit - is you open with a few shots of Battlestars on the right and Imperials on the left, and then a few shots in you break the 180 rule and suddenly the Battlestars are on the left. The result is just a brief moment where you think the good guys are the bad guys.
Other than that the whole film had a lot of style and some great shots. I really liked the dodgem vipers at the end too!
If you ever fancy a team up with another Lightwaver for an animation, give me a shout
