Thumbs up A True Hero

I know I have written on this subject before. Christopher Reeve is a true hero. The man never has given up hope when many would have. I hope and pray that he walks again. He is a true life Superman.

On that roll, we should also include Hellen Keller, and Stephen Hawking.
And speaking of xcience, the crew of Apollo XIII. Only heores could have taken a wrecked spacecraft, and make it bring them home.

That is the thru nature of a hero... people who risk their lives in order to obtain a greater good, not to achieve a dar political statement.

Mr Reeve does that when he tries to change that law that says no to any scientific achievement that might help people in his condition. Same goes for Hellen Keller who changed the way of thinking of everyone in the world, or at least should have changed. The guys from the Apollo XIII, well maybe these guys did just too little but they taught us that there shouldn't be an impossible task if that means our survival; lots of good examples in this category.

Fire Fighters in the US do that every day (because all the houses and small buildings are a fire hazzard), also some doctors and nurses too. Teachers everywhere, even those we hated during our school days because how strict they were. Our parents sometimes, and also that good friend who helped us when we all needed.

I live next door to a fireman -- how lucky is that?

And oh, kingfish, I agree about him, I even donated to Mr. Reeve's charity.
