Looks good, Potemkin. 
The only suggestion that I would have (and I'm no artist), would be to "tone down" the light from the engine exhaust, a wee bit.

I want to work more on the Launch bays and give them more details , and place more of the fleet ship around the "G".

I have done a little bit more experimenting and start to use Stevew mesh after a few problem is starting to come together .

I'm sure Steve will be happy someone will be posting renders of his meshes.
I think one odd thing though is the red engine's upper surface is in shadow. But its a good start!

I see what you mean with the Engine I will try to improve on the look , but I don't think i save the Scene I will have to try and reproduce it, but I will play around with the lighting.

ATLAST I have a pic with Steve's Mesh of the Galactica and I am working on it now , and boy it is hungery on the RAM (the mesh that is) but I got around it , I will have to increase my PC RAM size in the new year 128 is not enough 
I am playing around with the lighting and so on , to get better images and I should be finished it on Monday.

Pot- try creating a duplicate of steve's mesh and delete the parts of the mesh that the camera can't see. That will reduce rendering time dramatically.
