Looks good, Potemkin.

The only suggestion that I would have (and I'm no artist), would be to "tone down" the light from the engine exhaust, a wee bit.

I'm sure Steve will be happy someone will be posting renders of his meshes.

I think one odd thing though is the red engine's upper surface is in shadow. But its a good start!

Welcome tot he awesome world of battlestar CGI!

ATLAST I have a pic with Steve's Mesh of the Galactica and I am working on it now , and boy it is hungery on the RAM (the mesh that is) but I got around it , I will have to increase my PC RAM size in the new year 128 is not enough
I am playing around with the lighting and so on , to get better images and I should be finished it on Monday.

Wow!

That is a really terrific piece of artwork! I'm totally jealous of you guys and gals that have this kind of talent - even if it is aided by software...!

Potemkin - keep up the good work!

Best,
Bryan

Pot- try creating a duplicate of steve's mesh and delete the parts of the mesh that the camera can't see. That will reduce rendering time dramatically.
