>Advance Membership (Ticket) Purchases Deadlines
Deadlines for PayPal online membership purchases and Post Office mail have been set. We can take PayPal advance membership purchases until October 22, 2003. Overseas Post Office mail for checks and money orders need to be received by October 17. U.S. mail needs to be postmarked by Oct. 15 for advance sales. Don't miss this unique chance to attend an exclusive showing of the "cut scenes" from the classic Battlestar Galactica DVD set! We will be sponsoring a charity auction to benefit the Ride On therapeutic riding center--an excellent program for assisting children and adults with disabilities. "Ride On teaches horseback riding to children and adults with physical and mental disabilities. Founded in 1994, Ride On is a 501 (C)(3) not-for-profit corporation serving 135 riders each week at two ranches.
Our staff includes six nationally certified riding instructors and two physical therapists and we are a NARHA (North American Riding for the Handicapped Association) Premier accredited center. Serving the Conejo Valley, our Newbury Park site is located on a 13 acre ranch operated in partnership with the Conejo Recreation and Park District In the San Fernando Valley, Chatsworth is home to our original site.
Ride On offers two programs: Hippotherapy, which emphasizes therapy and always involves a licensed physical, speech or occupational therapist and Therapeutic Riding which emphasizes recreation, riding skills and fun on horseback. We also offer able-bodied lessons for siblings and the general public. Ride On offers the only accredited Hippotherapy Program in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties.
