My rebuilt and retextured refit USS Enterprise

Well, I rebuilt and retextured my refit Enterprise model. She ain't perfect, but like the K't'inga, she's a hell of a lot closer to looking like the real thing than my first effort.

All elements in this video were made by me, and animated in iClone.

Workin' up a space battle for the Enterprise and K't'inga now. Hopefully this one will turn out light years better than my last bout with them.

I hope so. As with all my projects, the more I develop it, the more I suddenly realize....."DARNIT!!! I have to make other elements!"

Right now, I am trying to develop a Starbase planetside setting. So far, so good. I even have my old school StarFleet shuttlecraft in the scene briefly.

What I'm trying to see now is if there is a way to convert particle effects from Blender for use in iClone.

Rigt now, to my knowledge, there is no tutorial about "how to create particle effects" for iClone.

This is an experiment I did with some light sourcing, to try and replicate the phaser effects reflecting off the hull of the Enterprise (ala ST II:TWoK). It needs some refining, but I think it works fairly well.

I hope you got to check out my rebuilt K't'inga battlecruiser as well.

When and where I can, I do try to use direct screen caps and photo references for textures for the ships....or if possible, studio photos (which finding them in orthographic form can often be quite tough....especially now. )

Once I learn this new program I bought, HitFilm 2 Ultimate, I'm going to try my hand at animating starships in that program. I'll use iClone for character and internal set animations, and HitFilm 2 Ultimate for my space scenes.
