Thanks for the link, dvo47p!

I'm definitely looking forward to seeing X2 when it comes out.

The good bits:

"Meanwhile, his longtime friend and executive producer, Thomas DeSanto, reprimanded the pill-dispensing crew member. When Singer found out, he lashed out at DeSanto. The argument escalated. Singer “fired” his pal. DeSanto
refused to leave the set. The standoff caused production to shut down for one day, and irked the cast, Berry in particular. “It was resolved that evening,” Singer says. “That was nothing. Tom and I, God, we’ve have had some real fights.”

I guess the implication is they fight all the time, but still work together.

Isn't it kinda funny, Bryan fire Tom: isn't the hiring relationship the other way around, usually? Producer over director? I think they are good enough friends to have a good fight and make up in the morning.

Default Damn

Premiere was today but i didn't go? Not to worry, people who wait outside are just there to see the stars and take posters (last year and the year before, i got tons of them) Opening day is what we are waiting for! On the big screen.

But i will be there for Matrix Reloaded premiere though.

Default Singer: More X To Come

http://www.scifi.com/scifiwire/art-m.../24/13.00.film

Bryan Singer, director of the upcoming X-Men sequel film, X2, told SCI FI Wire that a lot of comic mythology didn't make it into the second movie, but could end up in a third. "Possibly," he said in an interview. "You choose your battles. You figure out what serves the story and what is ultimately tangential."

Singer added, "[In] each X-Men film, we lost a character. I had to battle Beast out of the first film. I think Angel was a character that found its way into almost towards the final drafts of this script. I had a wonderful scene with Angel that I was very fond of, and had to get rid of, because you don't want to have characters and plot lines for the sake of having characters and plot lines."

Singer said that he had to cut other elements from X2, including a scene featuring Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) in the Danger Room and others involving the Sentinels. X2 opens May 2.

Erm, well........

Good, more X-Men o come!

Bad, less time for that team to work on Galactica if they wanted too.

Why does everything in life cut both ways.

Default About the relase date of X-Men2

Over here on the 'good' side of the pond, I think the movie comes out May 2nd. The original X-Men lost a great deal of money to video pirated copies. Ergo, X-Men 2 has world wide release date close to the premiere, more big screen time before bootleg video's hit the market.

Whoever suggested the x2 ticket stub idea, would you like to post that idea over on Trek BBS in the SF area so BSG Trek fans who feel like we do could be aware there is something they can do?

Considering Tom just finished 10 days in Europe, promoting "X2" with Bryan, I'd say things are fine.

"X3" production should start fairly soon, too. Rock on, Tom!

So drafting DeSanto is probably a no-go huh, concidering X3 and the shabby prior treatment he got?
