I'm going to open up a thread at BSG.com where the fans will be able to write their own character and dialog for the audio continuation (the return of a hero). Here is how it will go.
A thread will be opened intitled last Battle scene. It will start by a launch command. who ever wants to be involved, will make a post that will go something like this.
List name of character you are playing
Then say that you are clear for take off. After all, the squadrens have to leave the Galactica before they can fight the cylons.
once that takes place, then you can talk to each other in that thread just as you would to each other while flying vipers in battle but every time you post, you have to list your characters name first and then what ever you want to say.
For example, 2 different post may go something like this....
..................................................................................................................
Capton smith = I got one on my tail and these new cylon ships are some fast.
.....................................................................................................................
Lutenent Danual = No problem capton, I already have him locked in my sites. They may be fast but our new vipers are faster.
...................................................................................................................
And then more and more gets added on.
When done, you will take all the lines from the character you made up and record them. then after they are sent to me, I will interact them with the others just as the script was written by you . Only, when I'm done, you will sound like you are in a viper shooting down cylons . How cool is that.
So get that name ready for your character and get out that computer microphone. if you don't have one, they are pretty cheap to get.
Practice recording on your computer and don't worry about the poor quality in the recording because I will fix all that here.
The ending to The return of a hero is going to be one hell of a fight scene and you are going to be a part of it.
