Default SOUND for your old Dos Games - that WORKS!

Hi all!

Has this happened to you? You've got these wonderful favorite MS Dos games and you're just dying to play them again, but your new version of Windows simply won't let the sound and/or music play? Have you?

Well, trouble yourself no more! There's a wonderful freebie program guaranteed to make virtually ALL your old MS Dos games work under Windows. If you have Windows NT 4, Windows ME, 2000 or XP, these operating systems have NO DOS at all. So old games simply won't work (graphics yes, sound no). But lucky you, you can go here...

VDM Sound

Install this, then simply RIGHT CLICK on your old DOS exe file, and you will see a new option, "Run With VDM Sound". Click that, and that's it! VDMSound will take care of the rest. I tried it on the most stubborn programs and it worked flawlessly. And it's FREE! Plus it has loads of options to get around even the most stubborn old programs.

If you're like me, you remember back in the late 80's, early 90's, the IBM PC was the most brain dead computer on the market (for games at least). After shelling out $275 for a sound card, cuz sound was EXTRA, another $200 for a video card, cuz video was EXTRA, and spending an average of 4 hours INSTALLING 20 some odd floppy disks per game only to get an error and have to start over... then, FINALLY when you try and run this new game, NO SOUND!!! Music, MAYBE, sound fx, NEVER. So you spend the rest of your day off tearing apart the case which has 16 screws when every other system has a lid that just SNAPS off, looking thru a manual to find out which jumper is for IRQs, setting it to IRQ 7 only to find the game requires IRQ 5, ripping everything apart again and putting it back together, then finding IRQ 5 is already being used so you gotta pull out all your other boards one by one to find the conflict...

You get the idea.

(Am having fun with this, can't you tell? ). Yep, those were the good old days. Well, smile BIG cuz VDMSound will almost guarantee you never have to go thru that again - you don't even need to know what an IRQ and port address are. So cool!!!

So if you've been dying to play that old adventure game of Might and Magic 3 or Monkey Island, or the original and best Red Baron flight sim, pick this program up!

Cheers!
