Latest on the G for ya Steve..

I added bays to the mesh - and put in a light rig for them - I modelled up the fronts of the bays from the photo ref Darrell provided earlier and tried her in a little anmation to see what it looks like - the motion curve is a bit quick as it was mainly a test to check how the specularity of the surfacing behaved - looks quite good I think!

I will upload the meshe for the new defender as soon as I get some FTP sofeware. I am for some reason haveing trouble with cute and voyager.

that mesh is looking absolutely scrumptious .... pity my raiders are going to spoil that nice looking paint job

Hey Fabs, how would you like to retrofit that mesh of Steve's.

I can send you the landing bay interior i started. It's closer to what your shooting for.

Let me know

One more thing, i don't know how far you want to go in editing the mesh of Steve's but if your willing i have some pointers. For one, slide the center landing bay strut towards the middle of the bay. The middle support strut is to close to the inside edge of the bay. That's IF you want to, just a suggestion.

actually mate _ I wouldn't mind some high res reference and blueprints so I can have acrack at this beast myself!
