6th Millennium Fighter - Schematics
Hello, all!
With the recent release of the 1/48th scale 6th Millennium Fighter, I decided to give it a schematics treatment similar to my Nova Class Battlestar diagrams I did (incidentally, 2 years ago to the day). Take a look and let me know what you all think.

Re: 6th Millennium Fighter - Schematics
that is amazing, very nice work on it!!
I would have loved to get one of the fighters, but I'm concentrating on 1/72 scale fighters, not the 1/48 scale ones. Unfortunately

Re: 6th Millennium Fighter - Schematics
Great!
Will you be doing the internal details? Cockpit, landing gear, et al?

Re: 6th Millennium Fighter - Schematics
^^^ Thanks very much!
Re: Interior, likely not - for two reasons: There is no real visual information on those kinds of details and I'm more of an external-view type of designer in the first place.
I know it seems kind of funny coming from me and the detail that I put into these things, but I don't have much patience to fill a panel with a bunch of repeating knobs and buttons. I'm more interested in getting as close as I can to the source material and building the most accurate 5- or 6-view exterior layout as I can.
I suspect, though, that it shouldn't be much different from a Viper cockpit and internals, considering the similarity of their design and pedigree, and I wouldn't be surprised if someone out there is putting together a full Viper cockpit layout. I've heard rumors of such a project for some time now on various other boards.

Why yes. Yes I do.
Beware, though - 4.32MB of crunchy digital goodness.

Re: 6th Millennium Fighter - Schematics
I'm thinking probably not, as it's a vector PDF, not raster.
Here's a link to a large-scale rendered PNG I made from the original Adobe Illustrator source, to save you some time:
http://www.shipschematics.net/bsg/ba...estar_nova.png
Give that a try to see if it's big enough for your needs.
