Default Viper Cockpit - Cereal Mail Order Prize

Colonial Fleet:

Greetings warriors!!!

I happen to run across a piece that i have not seen in many yahrens.

Does anyone remember this little item?...It was the viper cockpit controls - a mail order item from a cereal box.

I remember sending away for this and RP with my friends after school. We tried to make our own vipers our of cardboard boxes and our own colonial warrior uniforms - ah the good ole days!!!

Oh yeah! I remember when mine finally arrived in the mail all those years ago. But mine was missing pieces! I think it was the mission cards that were missing. I converted our basement closet under the stairs to a spaceship module, with this as the main control center. Along with paper drawn controls along the walls. Add Christmas lights and I was set! The hours of pretend that I had with that "spaceship". Also took an old flashlight, rolled up a stack of paper and shoved it in the cylinder, added a cardboard handle and wrapped the sucker in black electrical tape... instant Colonial Blaster! I think that thing may still exist somewhere, maybe at my parent's house. I have to get it and take a picture.

What I would give for a one day quantum leap back to that time.
