That may not be bad news. Mutant X is a horrible show and needs drastic retooling for it to get any better.
I welcome any changes to the show.

My instructor was Mr. Langley, and he taught me to sing a song. If you'd like to hear it I can sing it for you. Dave Bowman: Yes, I'd like to hear it, HAL. Sing it for me. HAL: It's called "Daisy." [sings while slowing down] HAL: Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do. I'm half crazy all for the love of you. It won't be a stylish marriage, I can't afford a carriage. But you'll look sweet upon the seat of a bicycle built for two.
I watched Mutant X and I found whenever any show is
RETOOLED ...............like EFC ........andromada etc ........
IT got WORSE
The difference between Mutant-X and EFC/Andromeda is that both EFC and Andromeda were good shows to begin with. They weren't the total peices of trash that Mutant-X is.
Andromeda and EFC both were perfectly fine, not flawless but fine, before the changes were made. Mutant-X isn't perfectly fine. It's horrendously flawed and something needs to change for it to get any better.

The one thing all of these shows have in common is that they are produced by Tribune. Tribune is notorious for completely gutting and changing shows between seasons.
Andromeda and EFC both started out really good before they were screwed with. In my opinion, the first season of EFC was some of the best science fiction TV of the past decade.
I would have to agree with une though that Mutant X was never that good. Some episodes are ok, but that's about all it's ever risen to. Fans of it should be greatful they had two full seasons with the same cast and storyline. Most Tribune shows can not make that claim.
However, I doubt any Tribune mandated change can improve anything. It'll probably go from bad to worse.

I thought Kevin Kilner was a excellent actor. It was a
big BIG MISTAKE for the "PRODUCERS" to RETOOL
EFC! Although they did get better after the third
season because the fans wouldn't let up.
You are right alternity Orange ...........those shows
are all OWNED by TRIBUNE!
I won't be watching Mutant X next season ......with the
way TRIBUNE entertainment likes to "FINE TUNE" their
shows ........I truely doubt it will be worth it
Well, sometimes when you change much that happens. Anyway, I'm looking forward to see the new seasons of both series. I totally love both of them. So I'm probably will be seeing it until the boat sink.
Solutions trash the company fireworks entertainment, fire all the executives and actually get some talented people in there that can write and produce quality television.
Fireworks Entertainment in co-operation with Tribune has destroyed two potentially great shows based on the writings of Gene Roddenberry. I just hope to god that the guy who is developing the Questor Tapes series does not distribute it and pitch it to Tribune only to have it destroyed halfway through the first season.
Tribune has the worst rep for trashing decent material in under a year, and as apposed to allowing a show naturally grow, they think cool, we got great ratings, lets change this, this and this, Fire RHW and have a seen where Rommie shows a bit of thigh and goes topless.
Tribunes execs should be shot dead for playing with material they do not understand or comprehend. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Yes I know it is a shameless plug but I am the one that has to live with it.
I watched Mutant X last night. They have a new mutant named Lexa. Adam has disappeared. Emma is gone. The show is definately missing Adam. I have a feeling that the show will either be cancelled or they will bring Adam back permenently.
It is nice to find some talk about Mutant X. I know that some think that the show was good to begin with but I have always thought that it has great potential. I miss Emma a great deal. However Adam has got to be brought back to full cast member again. The show needs John Shea. I already like the new girl Lexa. I hope that Mutant X can make it through this time of change.
