Saw it tonight with the boy. It was cute and funny, good all around family movie. The big laughs in the audience came at the end, but it keeps your interest most of the way through. They played this great short before the feature. In some ways it was a better parrable than the movie itself.

the short was annoying. I enjoyed the Revenge of the Sith teaser trailer and the movie was ... incredible. They really got the superhero action film genre figured out. There were plenty of Superman references and it had an engaging plot. Very smart and funny film. I give it my thumbs up!

They played the star wars trailer? Must be a regional thing. All the trailers we saw were kids movies.

I saw it today and enjoyed it. It was a lot of fun, and funny as well. Some of the CGI was amazingly life like.

The trailer for Revenge of the Sith...awesome! They showed it before the Incredibles, by when I walked into a second theatre to watch it again prior to another showing of the movie, they didn't play the trailer then. Bummer.

Ok guilty as charged... the main reason "I" went to go see it was for the trailer...OMG I still get goose bumps thinking on it... the "official" reason was to take my little girl to go see it. lol Silly thing fell asleep during it and somehow got m&m minis melted and stuck to the back of her shirt. *very puzzled* Still trying to get this mommy act down. lol

I'm wondering if this is the last of the Pixar-Disney films. Awhile ago they had talks of a contract renewal, but Pixar wanted more control over its own film and profits, Disney balked, now they are going seperate ways. But there were a few films still contracted for, this being one of them. But it could also be teh last.

Cars (John Lassiter's baby) is the last of the Disney-Pixar films. Unless someone smacks Disney's board and they come begging back to Steve Jobs, at least.

Tom, if you want a near Disney blasphemy: Toy Story 3 is being developed by Disney independently. I can't imagine it will have the creativity of the 1st 2. Disney's putting a whole new computer animation dept. together for it.

We saw Incredibles this week and it was aptly named. Almost made me think the future of really good sci-fi is going to be all CG animated. They had some very cool "ships". the saucers with the spinning outer ring were only 1 of the very cool "inventions".

Comedy and characters were, as always, 1st rate. Animation was just drool material. They even mussed Elastigirl's hair! Yeah, Pixar! The short was just silly, but aren't they usually?

Yes I heard about that. My friends over at the mouse told me about it. Toy Story's license is owned by Disney. Much like the name Battlestar Galactica is owned by Universal. Its one of the things Disney forced out of Pixar when it was a small no-name company. And of course they won't give it back. Disney believes in OWNING whatever it can from a legal point of view. It has to do with clear future revenues.

BUUUUT all the software and the artists belong to Pixar. So Disney wants to milk the license, but without Pixar, they are going to have to do things from scratch.

It's ironic that now Disney owns Pixar (though Pixar folks will be running the creative portion of the animation end). Was looking back at our comments from way back and they're ironic in retrospect.

Cars was great fun too.

Yes, The Incredibles is an incredibly fun film with a good storyline.

And Holly Hunter has got to have one of the sexiest voices in Hollywood.....not to mention I can think of a few stretching exercises I'd like to try with Elasti-Girl.

(I know....just plain wrong.)

Ditto. I even had the movie on DVD for months and hadn't gotten around to watching it.

And, no offense to "E", but I liked Mr. Incredibles original costume.
