Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children!
The landmark game, Final Fantasy VII, with its epic struggle of good vs evil, of mournful heroes and tragic megalomanic villians, and doomed heroines, is going to be resurrected!!!!!
Square has announced that coming in Summer 2004 they will release Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. It is expected to be a 60 minute full cg film.
The story takes place 2 years past the end of the game. Cloud has been living alone in that old church of Aerith's. The world looks peaceful except for some sickness called Seikon-Shoukougun. Not much else is known. But A special preview seen in japan featured fully rendered Cloud battling with that huge sword of his against a new character with short white hair. And Sephiroth looks impressive standing in flames.

Looks good but they changed up Tifa too much. I might pass on this one. 
It will be a movie for PS2/DVD and a game for PSP if my info is correct.
