Good find, radama........thanks for the link.
It was nice to see costumes, props, etc that had some imagination to them.

That is neat.
While surfing the web I found a place to buy uniforms from BSG. Check this out. It's a little costly for a uniform, but it's BSG and worth it.
http://battlestargalactica.org/
Hope everyone enjoys!

Looks like the full boogie warrior outfit including blaster/holster/belt without boots your spending eight large. Without trying it on for fit...I don't think so. If some one is smart they'll bring some costume inventory to Galacticon2003.
Cylon will only set you back 5K.

I wouldn't buy anything from them if I were you, unless you want a very long wait. I belong to a BSG costume and prop board and no end of people have had problems with this lot.
Let the buyer beware!

Peter

Thanks Peter
Thanks for the heads up Peter. I haven't bought anything yet, but I was considering the warrior's Jacket. I'll take your advice and continue to look else where for one.
Thanks again,
Amber

Many Thanks Radama!!!!!
You all are right , If someone would have Galactica uniforms at the convention it would be a great idea. I'm sure they would sell.

My last post on the subject of costumes at this time.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=37880
Now the person selling these jackets will be at Galacticon. So to say nobody will be at Galacticon selling uniforms might be correct, but making them...

radama!
Welcome back! Haven't seen you in awhile
Your pictures are sooooo great! And they came at a time I reeeeaaallly needed the reference on the props the warriors wear.
btw- those warrior boots are Sidi Fullbore Motorcross boots.
http://www.classicboots.com/moto/fullbore.htm
I think they just have a layer of black paint on them.

Costume Update and New Issues
All right, my costume and blaster arrived quickly from www.battlestargalactica.org , ordered on Friday in my hands on Monday. All looks great but there were problems.
1. Pants just too small, I’m 6’0” 195lbs with 38” waist the large pants would not fit. I’m told the exchange will be quick though not pleased with paying $25 to ship them back.
2. The neck at the top of the tunic way too large. That was my fault the neck measurement I gave them was almost an inch off.
3. The blaster looks great but they won’t have the holster and belt for like six weeks. I was told that when I ordered so no surprise.
Over all I’m pleased I will have a great costume for Galacticon2003 and Halloween even though I ordered very late!
NEED HELP…I can find the belt but I NEED SOURCES for the holster and leg straps.

I've been talking with David and Hanne at battlestargalactica.org about my warrior costume. I had pretty lengthy conversion where the subject of Galacticon2003 came up they are not going to be there. Perhaps someone with the con would like to give them a call 201-699-6070 Guardian Entertainment. I don't work there or own stock, just pleased so far with what I've got. Lastly, Battlestar costumes and accessories are not cheap...if you have talent with a sewing machine and plastic resins GO FOR IT.

Allmost forgot
First, thanks for the answers.
Second, how this for customer service? Remember the pants I received that were to small, battlestargalactica.org sent my pants out Fed Ex before they got the pair I sent back...pretty damn cool.
Picked up a cool pair of MotoCross boots for about $150.

Hi everyone!
I'm from Malaysia and very new to this board.
I've always wanted to get a colonial jacket and have to say that the burgundy one is just as cool.
Would anyone be able to pass me katarra8's email? The reason is Malaysia is not included in Paypal and I'm not a registered ebay user anymore.
Really appreciate if someone could help me on this.
Thanks

Thanks for the warm welcome and for katarra8's email info
Just sent an email to them and hope to hear from them soon.
By the way, one question ... Battlestargalactica.org is suppose to be an authorized BSG merchandise store ... but how come they're not linked from any of the main BSG sites?
I'm not trying to discredit them but just seems kinda strange and they don't seem to have updated their site since February.
Have to admit that they have a great catalogue of products though.
Regards,
Edwin

Thanks originalsinner
But I think that maybe katarra8 has 2 email accounts. I did receive a quick reply from katarra8 from the email that radama provided.
Now i just have to provide her with my measurements and send the payment.
Can't wait to get the burgandy jacket
