Default Artists needed for BSG 25th Anniversary

That's right! I've just about finished the logo, and am ready to start laying out a poster design and designs for the programs, etc. I think it would be a great idea to use BSG artwork from the fans! At this time, we can't offer pay, but the artist will be credited, and all work should be signed, of course. Plus, the person or persons will just *have* to be at the convention to personally autograph their work!

Charachter and ship scenes are both welcome. Anyone interested can PM me, or email me at micheleh@gci-net.com.

Thanks!

*bump*

I know I'll participate, as time permits. And a few other artists have mentioned in private that they're interested, too. How about the rest of you? Talk with Micheleh, please.

Is that why my BattlestarPegasus.com has been taking so many downloads lately from the meshes section? Or has Fabio been extra gracious with his mods?

If you need me to upload the files for you, send me an FTP site which I can access. I'll make the time to help. What you've done thus far with your BG renders is phenomenal. (You know me, I've enjoyed your past artwork on other topics, too.) Remember, too, that Darrell (WarriorDL) has a mirror site here at 3DG/Colonial Fleets for the files.

Cylons, well... I wish we had some quality ones to offer up. Someday, I hope.

Now I need to spend a little more time on the textures ( I'm still not great in that area yet) but once I've at least made them a little better I'll post a link to my raider and anyone here who wants it is welcome to use it.

Richard I agree on the texes but that is not my thing. Can you put some small redii on some of the sharp edges? I am a freak about those things, I think it adds a little more realism. Now that I have been using Solidworks I have been using them a lot, other than that

Interesting I thought they could land and take off from the landing bays also. I thought the destroyer and the shuttle ship took off from them to the front

Since you're in my thread for volunteers, talking art, does that mean I can sign you all up?
