I know the producers and writers wanted a clean break from SG1 to SGA, but I really think they should have included a box of ex-Jaffa zats in the supplies brought to Atlantis.

All the senior staff should carry one. Weir could hide hers in a desk drawer or something.

Zats and staffs. Those things don't run out of power. And where is SGA going to get new bullets?

I don't believe the SGC has a stock pile of zats or staff weapons. At the moment, those weapons are only effective against humanoids and may not affect the Wraith. Even T.E.R. weapons may be ineffective or need to be modified to work on the Wraith. Some of the guns they brought to Atlantis should have been equipped with T.E.R., like the guns SG-1 used in the Lost City episodes to kill the super soldiers.

SGA has a few Wraith weapons. They should take those apart and start making their own or just use them until they find an alternative. I found it weird they when they infiltrated the Wraith motherships, they never came across a Wraith weapons locker or weapons stored near the sleeping Wraiths.
