thnks

yeah I am trying to figure out color correction for those scenes in Sony Vegas- but it is being difficult to obtain, so, put it off till I get the next section- launch of raptor and MK II's then the entire scene will be ready for sounds, post. then off to find and Muck up some Tie Fighter Jocks day and scramble a star Destroyer into a trap lol maybe...

I got a couple of ideas on how to create a light jump- hopefully I wont forget them when it is time to do one.

No updates atm.

I still have some plans to do a BSG vs Empire battle as well. I had an opening crawl wrote up, if I can find it, I'll post it.

New revamped Viper Thrusters.

was working on doing the Raptor but think I should try and find another model, the one I got does not look too good.

this video will contain craft from both shows.

thank you, but have to remak/redo aspects as on new comp now, along with all else.
but here is an update.

INTRO>

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wsjG5WcrAjo

some feedback on how it looks to you would be appreciated. most scenes were previously rendered on old machine. But added some color correction to them.
with My HD system it all looks like crap LOL, but the Scroll at end looks better on system than tube vid, you can see star colors. >> ?? << y IDK

since on a new comp and OS am having to restart and redo everything.
From model conversions to material assignments. So will have to build up all again. Though I had a few clips rendered, went ahead and used them in the intro.

This is a test of Intro. To see how it appears. Though with a HD screen now, am having trouble finding color correction, color adjustments and finding it looks plasticized. May be beyond my mere abilities as a noob CG Animator/artist on a self taught basis. but hell, even TV and films don't look good now with this new system and screen

That was pretty cool there, QH. Liked the Armitage. I can see what you're talking about with rendering that on an older machine. A little choppy at first, but it picks up. Nice models and texturing there.

And I'm largely self-taught on this stuff as well, very much a n00b, so don't feel bad.
