Default BSG - "Gamoray Ascendant"

"Gamoray Ascendant"

1152x864 image here .

On occasion, I enjoy working with digital art, mainly Photoshop, Painter and either 3D Studio Max or Lightwave. The image above was a wonderful excuse to "play" in the BSG universe. I have a handful of additional images at BattlestarPegasus.com, along with eventual plans to crank out more. (Where's the time? hehehe.)

Pictured is the battlestar Pegasus before the start of "The Living Legend, Part I." Sheba and Bojay have launched into space to intercept two incoming ships. Little do they know that it is Apollo and Starbuck from the battlestar Galactica...

The Pegasus and Viper 3D models were done by David Kerin in 3D Studio Max format and are available for free download at BattlestarPegasus.com's Gallery section, as well as a mirror site on 3DGladiators.com. The rest is Photoshop 5.5 and Painter 5.5 2D work.

Wow, lovely pic, I especially like the way the light crescent of the planet highlights the dark edges of the ships. Gee, I can't even draw letters of the alphabet! Nice work!
