How many famous humorists were overcompensating for private feelings of inadequacy? What were they like at home with the family in their high school years--men like Robin Williams, Bob Hope, Red Skelton, Bill Cosby?
And how many people who can really liven up a party sit around and worry that "nobody really likes me, everybody laughs at me behind my back. . ."?

Just wondering. . .

I think with most people you don't know what they are really like unless you take the time to really get to know them and listen for what they really mean not just what they say.

So very true Laura... Getting to know someone is so much like a voyage of discovery. You have to really explore to understand...

Anybody else notice how quiet it's getting here? Is it just the summer doldrums, or will it only be cured by the new show actually starting to air?
January 2005. . .that's a long way away. . .

I take the slower pace as a good thing. I think all the BG sites are slower. Lack of news but also lack of petty fan wars. Speaking for myself I think that is a good thing.

I'm only just getting vback to posting. I was really too burned out. But at the same time, now I'm devoting more time to art. And doing BG art too!

I have to agree with Tom. I kinda enjoy the peace and quiet of not having fan wars any more. The lack of news on BSG may also have something to do with the slower boards.

I just really think that some are just enjoying the outdoors of summer time, at least that's why I haven't been an active poster latley.

I like not having the fan wars too. That was getting real OLLLLLLLLD real QUICK.
I like everyone getting along here. I only hope it lasts when the 'new mini series'
shows.

Probably won't. . .lotta people only want to talk when they're mad about something or other. But maybe I'm wrong. Hope so, anyway.

I'm old fashioned...uh...or is that just old.......I love BSG and I am in OWD's audio, in the last battle scene, so if you want to know what Amberstar and I sound like, you will have to listen to it........

I am also a StarGate fan....well, that does cover alot of guys in uniform.....LOL.....I am an oldie here too, but went away for awhile because of reading all of the anger and harsh words , but, now I am back, but because reality bites, I am not able to post as often as I once did. The way I am in here, is the way I am all the time....no surprises.

Its quiet like this on ALL the BSG boards.
I check for new posts and find a little flag here or there while I whistle the theme to TOS or play the drumbeats of the new one.
