Default Wow!

Get kicked off the internet for three months, and everything goes and changes around here! It looks great!

I've really missed you guys. I never noticed how often you encounter the words "dot com" in everyday life before now, my laptop went "pfft" in the middle of a post, and I've been suffering withdrawl ever since. My new Dell arrived last night and I've been loading and finding ever since. I managed to go to bed only an hour late. It'll probably take a week to catch up on everything. But I'm back.
Yay.

(Why is there a basestar under my my avatar?)

FG!!!!

Just for you:

Grrr. Grrrr.

Yes, you were missed. You've got about a week's worth of reading to do in the Last Person thread alone.

Yep, things have changed a little. The basestar shows your post count - or, more appropriately, "kills" = a raider for every 100 up to 1000, a basestar for every 1000.

And there's more, too. But I won't take away the fun of you looking for it!

Welcome home!

I am

I've heard a lot of good things about Dell, People PC is kind of expensive, and I wouldn't own another Gateway if they paid me to take one. Best Buy was never an option, coz I wanted the service.

Hi all!

I have had 3 Dells, and all have been extremely reliable. I was not crazy about my first cuz it arrived with ALL of the interrupts used already! Not much fun when you need to add 3 or more cards that need 'em.

But my newest one is wonderful. It's base price was only $800 and it blows all my others away. 2.4Ghz, 256MB RAM, 60+GB hard drive, both CD and DVD burners - awesome! I actually spent $1100 for it though cuz I live out in the middle of nowhere and cannot afford to be without my system, so I purchased the on site repair warranty. The model is a 4600, with a few upgrades (better sound and video cards).

Cheers!

I got the basic dimention 2400 with a memory upgrade and a free flat-screen moniter. Since I don't do a whole lot with it, that was fine by me. It lets me play The SIms, which the laptop didn't after the addition of the last expansion, and I've become readdicted to that. I played 14 hours with a 1 hour break to go online and look up some game-play tips and some downloads. In fact...I sorta want to play it now....
