You're welcome DarkJedi! That new box of Reese's Swoops won me over after all - just chomped one down. Hmm - not nearly as good as the regular Hershey's flavor. Only a hint of Reese's. I'll stick to the other ones.
Aha! Gonna run out and get some? See? I'm corrupting everybody!

Oh well, between the grocery store strike and my personnal decision to not support WalMart I don't think I will be trying them anytime soon. It doesn't sound like something Trader Joes would have but then again no one else carries Joe-Joes (chocolate-cream, chocolate cookies).

Hi Artemis! Those Joe-Joes must be tasty!
Hi Thomas! That sounds good!
Speaking of ice cream, I wish, and can never find, Dove dark chocolate ice cream bars with chocolate centers. (Everyone has the vanilla centers, never the chocolate). So rich you can barely take 3 bites.
My other fav was Baskin-Robbins mandarin chocolate fudge ice cream. A super strong orange-fudge taste. They only carried it as a special flavor once a year or so, and it was no good asking /when/ cuz they never knew when it would be released. Haven't seen it in ages.
Perhaps someday...

I do have one major gripe against chocolates.
I love those little chocolates with cherry stuff inside. BUT in a whole box of chocolates I can't tell which one is which!!! I at one time tried cutting out the bottoms but that just get people upset. So that's no good. Other than that it like playing that old Concentration game where you have to flip over two tiles at a time hoping for a matching pair.
Tommy no like that!

yup and another down side to them is if the shell breaks the filling goes all over the place and it is a mess!

Speaking of that Thomas, you just reminded me of something really funny. My mom used to receive several boxes of chocolates every Christmas, and of course she shared. The funny part? EVERY single piece of chocolate had been PINCHED by her to see what was inside (which made them very unappealing and dried out the insides).
Still makes me laugh when I think of a grownup doing that.

Half the box of chocolates were gone before my husband realized there was a diagram of the location and flavor of each one on the inside of the box lid. Serves him right for opening the box without letting me know.
