I had asked him about his seminars...and he said he was comming to Denver and aspen in july and texas in the fall....I am still waiting for the info on denver and aspen. I am going to be gone most of june on vacation so I am hoping to hear before I leave....

He's doing a 2 hr. workshop on writing & acting for today's audiences at Gencon Indy on Aug. 20th, I think 6:30-8:30pm. That might be an option for some of you, even if it's only a taste of a full seminar.

That was pretty annoying. You know, when I told the promoter I was a friend of Richard's, he asked me if I could afford to fly him to Austin.

I told him I could let Richard stay here at my house, but I couldn't afford to fly him here so that the promoter could make money off of me like that.

I couldn't believe that he asked me that.

I belong to a number of guilds ........it's standard practice to pay for
their round trip air fair and any room and board and expenses they
might encure.

I also think it was tasteless for the promoter to put you in that
spot. At $14 per head he could have easily afforded to use the
money in the budget to fly ONE or ALL of the actors into the
convention. There was no excuse for HIS behavior.

Oh yeah - Ken I feel your pain. Get this... the same promoter came to the 501st and asked us to pay the convention fee to get Jeremy Bulloch at the convention that Richard was supposed to be at. Sad thing is we did. And we got screwed!
