Damn, that brings back memories. My mom bought me the Colonial 'Scout' toy in that line. It never made an appearance in the series. It looked like a viper that had been cut in half and had a large fuel tank stuck between the two halves! I was dissapointed because I wanted the viper. Dumb mom......

This was an interesting toy. If I remember right, the nose with the viper front actually lifts up so you could "shoot" at Cylon Raiders flying above. My friend had this one. I had the Viper and the Cylon raider. The engine part and the Viper nose were removeable so you could "make your own vehicle."
There was one more vehicle in this set of 4, called the Colonial Stellar Probe, which had a long, cylindrical fuselage, a snub-nosed pod for the front and a scaled-down engine thruster part in the back with 3 wings like the vipers.
