OMG!!!! I had that thing!!! This is one of my very vivid memories of BSG other than when I was watching the show, of course.
I remember getting the package and going into my father's study room in our house. I sat as his large wooden desk and placed my "viper cockpit" onto it and began pretending I was in a viper! Incredible.
Wow, does that bring back memories. I have to still have that somewhere at my parent's house. This December I am going home for Christmas and I plan to ransack my old room and the storage room for all my old stuff! Who knows what I may find??

Funny thing, I have my father's old desk in my bedroom right now! He gave it to me after I got married and moved out of the house...so part of that old memory is still with me every time I sit at my desk and pay the bills. Ugh!

Is there multi-angle photos of the thing put together anywhere?
Be interesting to see over-all, and perhaps make a CGI version of it.
