Default Turbo Time....

Finally figured out a turbo thrust look I'm satisfied with.

I'm ashamed to post what it looked like before ha ha.

This is David Kerin's Viper (thanks David, big fan of your work)

Wow, I was expecting to see something a lil less than that.

That looks better than the Light I used on Kerin's Viper late 2010...? maybe?

Could you explain how or what you used or done to achieve this?

Am curious.... maybe Gleen a Tip off ya

So much to learn , so little time, and so many ideas with so little knowledge and so much to discover with so many things to try.

I did it with a free pyro plugin for 3dsmax. Funny thing is, I've been pulling my
hair out for weeks trying to get it to look just like the show and all that
time I forgot I had the plugin at my disposal.

It's basically just smoke particles with a gradient used for coloring and transparency.

Here's my previous effort which not only doesn't look accurate but took 15 minutes to render. This new method looks correct and renders in 4 seconds.

If you google search for cinema 4d pyrocluster....that should get you on the right path.
