Ok, who's with me....step through the event horizon and join me on the other side on P3C117..... I want to know what is going to happen to Jonas when Daniel comes back....I have gotten attached to Jonas
According to stories at Gateworld.net, it seems from what I've read, that he's only in the season-premiere two-parter. I couldn't find his name in any other episode. So hopefully it'll all be explained on June 13.
Well, I got some good news, and I got some bad news.
The good news is, that there seems to be a little more than that one episode, containing Corin Nemec......
Quote:
Robert Cooper, executive producer of the SCI FI Channel original series Stargate SG-1, told SCI FI Wire that the show's seventh season will showcase the talents of stars Christopher Judge, Amanda Tapping and Michael Shanks both behind and in front of the camera. "The actors are getting more involved creatively this year," Cooper said in an interview. "Chris has written an episode. Michael will be writing one for later in the season. Amanda is going to direct an episode in the second half, and Corin Nemec is returning for an episode that will play in the second half and is based on a story Corin pitched."
The bad news is, that information on the season is still pretty vague. But there should be more as the season premiere approaches. Perhaps even some light shed upon it, during the one-hour special before it.
Originally posted by emerita Yeah, it does...I'll be happy as long as they don't kill him off and let him come back once in awhile Thanks for the info.
I watch Stargate, but I have found it not as interesting in the past year. I am still playing catch up having missed much of season 6? I think, when they switched to scifi. My local network station was 1 season behind so I never did see what happed to Daniel or where Jonas came from before scifi started their season.

OMG!! You missed the best parts....don't give up on it. The episodes are getting good. Daniel will be back on Friday....I will sincerely miss Jonas too. I just entered a contest to win a walk on role....wouldn't it be cool if I won? I could be a To'kra....

I"m Guinan where ever I go.
I"m glad to see Daniel back, but I will miss Jonas too. I had the fortune of meeting Corin Nemic at Vulkon a couple weeks ago..
I'm a Gater - I was just really bad about watching the show last season! (I had NO idea when Season six started - by the time I saw any of it it was halfway into it! BOO!)
I remember getting some info from a stargate site awhile ago.
Richard Dean Anderson, aka Col O'Neill, will not be working a full season as an actor. Filming is in Vancouver, Canada while his little girl is in Los Angeles, USA. And he believes he should be with his kid. So he will not be in every episode.
And I also remember hearing that Corin Nemec, who plays Jonas, is still on the payroll.
So if I had to bet, I woud say Anderson will do a few episodes, then come on and be with his kid for awhile. And when he is gone, I bet they will bring in Jonas to fill in to maintain a team of four SG1 members.
It was really good to see Daniel back, but I'm glad they don't kill Jonas and will bring him back at least in another episode for sure after the two premiere episodes. I was hoping to see him with the team or at least in the base like Hammond and Dr. Fraiser characters.
Welcome Chriser..... it is nice to see SG1 fans. I didn't know that Chris Judge was going to be at DC this year......may have to consider going a little more seriously....Oh Yeah...
I just entered a contest to win a walk on role for SG1. Now I find out that I am ineligable because I live in Florida...THAT FRELLING SUCKS!!!!!! I would make a great walkon.....and now I won't get the chance......hmmmm.... I wonder if I can use my son's address in South Carolina. :z:

That is terrible. I hope this makes you feel better.
I watched this weeks episode titled Revisions in which the team finds itself on a planet where a computer controls everything. This episode seemed interesting until the end when they finally pull the plug on the murderous computer. Something bothered me about it. I have seen the same plot before on TOS Star Trek in an episode titled The Return of the Archons in which Landru controlled a society. In the Stargate episode the people rise up against O'Neill and he almost has to kill his attacker. On the Trek episode, Kirk and company use their Phasers to stun the attackers into unconciousness.
Hmmmmm...I don't know if I would call the computer in Revisions muderous....ok..ok ....it did kill people but it was only doing what the society had told it to do....to see that the community survived....at any cost...I guess....well, anyway It does follow the TOS, ST. I wonder if they indeed pulled the plug. I shall go back and watch it again. If they didn't then it would have just shortened itself until it could sustain the area...but then they wouldn't want the Gou'ald coming in and getting it.
I am sure they may get ideas from "other" places :p
