I am here!
Ok, Christmas dinner shopping is done! And everything is set for a nice holiday.
No white Xmas this year
Not ready to face my father in law after the crap he pulled last friday. I might just lay into him for the fight he started between me and hubby. We had plans to go out to dinner friday as he had a job interview about 40 minutes from our house and so Kev called his parents on his way home to see how his grandmother was and his father said that they needed him to help with something at their house. Kev asked him if it couldn't wait till the next morning as we had plans and he said it would upset me if we had to cancel as we had set the plans earlier in the week. Well his father informed him that what needed fixing could not wait. So needless to say I was not happy when he called me to tell me that our dinner plans had to be cancelled. I am so tired of bending for his father when that man has made me feel since I met my husband that I was not good enough to be with his son. Looking forward to going over there for Christmas eve day as much as I like going to the dentist.

well I was shocked at the total 180 my father in law did on Xmas Eve. He actually liked the hat I got him for his present. I nearly fell over when he thanked me!

I had Christmas at my sister's house. I haven't Christmas with any of my family in ten years. They've always been too far away.

It was the first Christmas for my nephew, who will be 4 months old on January 16th. He is too young to know that he made out like a bandit on presents! That's what happens when you are the first baby in 17 years!
Of course, I was sick & my sister wouldn't let me near him, but I worshipped him from afar & spent the next weekend playing with him!

We should publish a guide for newbies, with the #1 piece of advice being:
Never EVER mix with ambrosia. And, if you do, eat some as soon as possible to soak up all that alcohol!

And don't feed the beavers... unless they start to get angry... you don't want to make them angry! Trust me!

I am in serious need of a hot cup of tea and some sleep. I think I am coming down with a cold again. Being sick stinks to high heaven!
