what a great day, boomerang as been showing battle of the planets all day. i used to watch this show all the time as a kid. it's been great remembering all the fun my friends and i had watching and playing the roles of this show

I looooved G-Force! It is the father of all those super powered team shows like Power Rangers!

So are they showing the one with the heroic american opening theme? The original japanese theme have a bunch of kids singing together. I don't have any of the american ones recorded, but I got tapes of the original japanese though unfortunately they are straight off japanese tv so no subtitles.

No problem gang just one of the many many shows i love to watch, but i have not seen it in years

a great aventure with cool characters a fantastic ship
super openig theme, and princess even as a kid I love watching her fight, that mini cought my attention

DarkJedi you mave uniforms for tv shows "COOL" I wish they would bring it back also, there has been talk of doing a new one for a few years now and I would like the original actors to do the voices "Mark.. Casey Kasem who did the voice of Shaggy on Scooby Doo and Casey's Top 40 countdown. and Princess.. Janet Waldo Also: Judy Jetson in The Jetsons.

That is an AWESOME pic! Thanks actually! I needed a good pic of Mark's costume. Just got another order. Aparently the group buying them will be at Dragoncon. So pictures will be forthcoming.

I do some shows. I am not always free to do every costume. Sometimes I have to tell them to go to another seamstress as there are some patterns that I am not all that good with.

The original Battle of the Planets episodes, american productions, have recently been rereleased on dvd. I have some of them. Also Dark Horse comics, um, I think, has recently done a remake of the series beginning in comic book/graphic story format. I have the new comic series, I am guessing that it was Dark Horse offhand. I am not sure.

no only seen pics in the web site above yeah the ship looks great but the one i like best is from the BOTP.
I would like schemtics of it if there is any around.

I bought one of the UK DVD sets of Battle of the Planets last year, with 12 episodes, but recently I found out that ............ Universal......... are now releasing a 12 disc *region 2* set of the entire 85 episode run....

PS. When I was a kid, one Christmas, I got a toy/model of the 'Gatchaspartan' from Gatchaman F - it was 5 vehicles that linked together to make one big ship (I think that mint & boxed, it would fetch quite a bit of money today.... if I still had it

I dunno... the heart of the show is the same, but the opening is completely different. Imagine getting a group of 1st graders in a singalong. that's what it sounds like.

The second name is from the additional G-Force episodes on the DVD

White (the leader) -- Mark -- Ace Goodheart
Black/Blue/Red -- Jason -- Dirk Daring
WhiteYellow (the only Female) -- Princess -- Aggie (short for Agatha June)
Green -- Tiny -- "Hoody" (possibly a nickname for Hudao, I may have the spelling wrong)

i think there was a power ranger that wore yellow....
