Well...
I have always said that this game is a little too much alongside the mini, notwithstanding how it started out as trying to be true to the original series.
Sci-Fi and Universal got their hands on it and ruined it, but that's just my opinion...

Well .... I'd say the BSG fans were dupped,
Completely eh....

I will ask. I bought this game to fight alongside Apollo and Starbuck. However they are nowhere to be found. If there was a bonus mission one should be able to see it. I am also playing Jedi Starfighter I which includes a number of bonus missions which are playable. I have a feeling that the mission was scrubbed because it wouldn't fit the mini. How could Adama met two legends when one of them underwent a sex change? Also the end movie shows the Galactica morphing into the mini design. IMHO we were screwed bigtime.

Just a side remark,as I have no wish to play this game.
I read that Dirk Benedict's voice adds appeared only in the PS2 version.
Are these complaints X-Box,or PS2,or other?

These are PS2 complaints. Dirk does have a cameo as Lukas at the beginning of the game. He is killed off quickly. Richard is also in the beginning movie as Rylo. he lasts a bit longer but meets the same untimely fate as Dirk's, Lukas character.

WHAT???

They used the marketing strategy of telling us that our favorites would be found in the game and scrapped the mission(Past Imperfection) at the end.

Wait a second. Could someone expand on this? Do Starbuck and Apollo make any appearance at all, or are they completely missing from the game? Frak, they're listed in the credits!
If they are not in the game, I will be royally pissed. THEY'RE THE REASON I BOUGHT A PS2!!

A red light for me was the promotional materials I read about the game prior to its release. Adama was referred to as Ensign William Adama. There is no William about it. Adama is just Adama. The Game was really just a marketing tool for the mini.

If I had I would never have gotten the game. Luckily there's
a friend who's a FAN of the mini ..... and their buying the game
from me ....... of course not for the price "I" paid for it. I'm
even throwing in the xbox........ as I only got the xbox so I
could play the game.

Another slap in the face!
I bought the game hoping to unlock the secret codes to fly with Starbuck and Apollo. Now I find out that we were mislead and there is not secret level...... ....

No they are not in the game. There is no secret mission which needs to be unlocked. If you played it once and managed to get through it by sheer luck consider yourself lucky. The game is designed very poorly IMHO.

Well, if amazon won't take back my ps2 and my copy of the game, Universal will be hearing from me. Anyone want to join and make it a class action lawsuit?? I spent a *lot* of time, money, and energy on this game. Also sounds like false advertising on their part.

I know a lot of you are frustrated and even pretty upset. But remember, we do have one of the people that worked on the game as our guest here. So, I have asked him as to why they are not on the game. Perhaps there is a logical reason why? Give him a chance to respond.
As for buying the system just for a game. I know how that goes! I bought the Xbox just for the Knights of the Old Republic. Then came the other SW games, so I guess I am hooked now.
But let's see what his answer is on this ok?

Knights Of The Old Republic.
This is a best seller among games and made it to the top ten. Kristi have you ever played Star Wars Starfighter? I am playing now and love the game.

Yup! I have the jedi starfighter, starfighter, Jedi outcast II, Jedi Academy (new), and Clone wars and Obiwan adventures. Sad to say that is the extent of my Xbox collection right now. I haven't been able to get the new BSG game, can't find it in any of the stores here. *scratching head*
Do you know of any other fun Xbox games??? =)

I am using the PS 2. Fortunately some of the Star Wars games are available for it like the X-Box. I am going to see if I can get the Jedi Starfighter one tomorrow.

I see a lot of anger over this game, which I completely understand. My brother, (we'll all him anotherfrigginguy), bought this game too. He is a die-hard fan of the original, though he has given the mini a bit of a chance.
He has an attitude about the game that I would like to pass on in case those that bought it are stuck with it.
Snce the game takes place about 30 years in the past, he views it as a prequel to the original series. Yes, I know there are some mentions to the idea that humans made the cylons and Adama is William Adama, but so far, neither of us have run into the name William in the game. He views the "new" cylons and older models.
I mean, the game even has Imperious Leader, which isn't even hinted at in the mini.
So, if you get stuck with the game, maybe try viewing it that way. It might help.

They should have made a game based on TOS and not a hybrid of both the new and old series. I was looking into buying the game, but after seeing the negative reviews, I'll pass.

It was advertised that both Hatch and Benidict would be
in the game 'somewhere' ........... Somewhere .........turned
out to be NO WHERE ..........
That is called FALSE ADVERTISING.
If they decided to cut out Hatch and Benidict then the
people buying the game should have been notified of the
change. Instead they kept that 'LITTLE' fact SECRET.
These people deliberately and in a very CACULATED
manner misled the fans. Some of us bought equipment
simply so we could play the games ........ that we in
'good faith' bought.

I would like to point out that both Hatch and Bennedict ARE in the game. Not as much as most would have liked, I will admit, but they ARE there.

I know alot of people didn't see them at all.
I would like to know what 'level' that a person
would have had to reach in order to see them.
The friend who I sold my game to said he hasn't
seen them either and according to Kingfish
a member of this very club ..........................,
he hasn't seen them at all in the game ....... and
he's completed all the levels.

I know Hatch (and I think Bennedict) is right in the openning. As I said, they are barely in the game, but they are there. If I understand correctly from Jame Swallow's posts here, there is most likely a way you can unlock them as wingmen.

Okay.
Two points; firstly, I have no recollection of this game being "advertised" as featuring Dirk or Richard in any capacity.
Secondly, both actors do appear in the game (as Lukas and Rylo) as well as being unlockable wingmen (as Starbuck and Apollo).
I would be quite happy to prove this by posting the codes for the Starbuck/Apollo wingmen, if that's what it will take to settle this issue.

I must say I certainly didn't feel duped, when I first heard/read about the game and saw screens, I knew it was based on the re-imaging.
Kudos for getting Hatch/Benedict to particapate, the other thing is depending on well it sells, you could always address issues in a sequel.
