Default LOTR "Blooper"

After seeing each of the movies probably at least 20 times, this just jumped out at me over last weekend, during TNT's running of the trilogy.

Want to know where?

Other than the disappearing horses at the Gates of Mordor?

There are quite a few "whoopses" in LotR. Just check Nitpicker.com

I always did find that, shall we say, interesting.

But, yes, I just saw this one last weekend during TNT's re-broadcast of the trilogy.

Anyway, if you have the DVD, go to "Night Camp of the Urukhai" on the Two Towers DVD.

Spoiler

Pay close attention to Pippin.

His hands are bound.

Then, the Rohirrim attack.

You will see him, at one point, laying flat on his back and a horse overhead ready to bring its front hooves down on Pippin. His hands are at his sides.

Then, he and Merry resume crawling away from the battle scene and his hands are bound again. They stop crawling when they find a sharp rock with which to cut their bindings.
