Just giving y'all the heads up in case anyone here needs a Galactica like in my picture above. A SMALL one, like 17".

I was offered crazy $ for my own model once- I declined because I've had it since 1978, and it's part of my childhood, however this one is found goods. I'll have to access it's value when complete, but I don't aim to just paint it up for a quick sale- no, this is gonna be a work easily surpassing my previous one. $400 at the very least. We'll see.

Yeah, I know- but I gotta make at least $10 an hour for my work. My Galactica required 200 tiny little parts, I expect this one to use many more since I don't go halfway on stuff someone might be buying.

Check this out:

$510 at this posting. Very nice, though missing some details.
A work of art IMO.

Nice on the ebay score!

I was lucky to get one still sealed in the box (revell, not original monogram) for $ 93 last october.

I just got it back from a builder. Had it assembled, painted and lit with led lights.

I'll post some photo's soon.

Well, I just got the Galactica model in the mail that I got on eBay- $10 + $9 shipping, a pretty good deal.
Bad news: It was put together like felgercarb. Most seams not even lined up. Missing a side panel in the engine area.

Good news: it was never painted, which makes EVERYTHING a lot simpler. And it was glued badly, which makes dis-assembly easier.

It'll take a month or two, but I will compress this lump of coal into a diamond.

Out of curiosity, where did you get those Souyuz schematics? Are they Jackill's or from someone else? They look different to me a bit.

Those? They're just the decal application instructions from J.T. Graphics for the USS Bozeman I'm working on.
