Shedding Some Light on Trolls
I have received some complaints about possible troll baiting so I looked into on the forum. The best thing about ezBoard is gives good reports on IP addresses. These users were just banned on my forum and all of them are the work of one person. If you can help with identifying who the user is behind, I would appreciate it. Here is the information I have which all the users sharing the same IP addresses. I assume this is the same person trolling this board and Raoul S. Duke does not share an IP address remotely close to this guy.
Users:
shatnermf
gogouniversal
masterhofmeister
josephhsmig
SterlingThePig
Are all the work of one user with the same IP Addresses in common:
XX.XXX.XXX.XXX
XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX
(IP's deleted by me to respect privacy of originator- Micheleh)
If we work together to find this person, our troll problems will disappear on both forums.

We don't really have problems in this forum, mainly because all of the members here conduct themselves in a mature manner.
I'm sorry, we really can't help, because we don't really approve of invasion of someone's privacy without cause. If they caused sufficient trouble here to merit any action, also, this would be between the admins and the person involved- no information would be revealed publicly.

Sorry Captain James but this is what happens when one do things without thinking of the consequences(sp?). It's a good thing that you removed the ip adresses here and at your forum, but the adresses are still visible in the worst place for an ip adress to be, SciFi forums.
